The Content Hour: A Candle Making Experience ✨

As the Founder of the creative growth club, a mom of two and a full time lifestyle content creator I'm always looking for ways to make batch creating easier. I've found that by preplanning my content days to shoot the most amount of outfits, videos and more within a two hour timespan i can get 2+ weeks worth of content in one day. The biggest questions i get are: How do you do it all? and can you teach me?. So i reached out to our local community to find a way to share my content days with you all and it finally paid off!
On September 11th, we officially launched our Content Hour Series inside a beautifully staged Charleston show home — and what an incredible night it was! From candle making to content creation, the evening was filled with creativity, connection, and community.

🏠 The Venue
We partnered with a local realtor to host our first Content Hour in a stunning Charleston show home provided by Hunter Quinn Homes. This 4 bedroom home is such a dream. If there's ever a time to start manifesting it would be now! Every corner was styled and photo-ready, giving guests endless backdrops to capture their personal brand content, lifestyle shots, and UGC. The home itself truly set the tone for a night of inspiration.
🕯 The Main Event: Candle Making
Our featured activation of the evening was a hands-on candle making class, highlighting our very own local business exoticflamescandleco where each guest had the chance to pour and customize their own candle to take home. It was the perfect cozy fall-inspired activity that had everyone laughing, chatting, and creating side by side.
📸 The Content Hour
One of the signature elements of our series is The Content Hour — a dedicated hour for guests to explore the home and batch their content. From TikToks and Reels to lifestyle photos, this time gave creators the chance to use the styled space as their backdrop and walk away with plenty of fresh content for their feeds.
🎬 Studio Photo Activations
We also featured themed, fall-inspired studio setups where guests could book mini photo sessions with @tulipsandivory. These quick shoots came with edited photos — just in time for everyone’s fall content rollout!
🥂 Food, Drinks & Networking
Guests enjoyed delicious bites and sips while mingling with fellow Charleston creatives, entrepreneurs, and businesswomen. The atmosphere was equal parts laid-back and elevated — the kind of vibe where real conversations and new collaborations were born.
We also had giveaways for our signature content challenge where guest share their recap reels and photos on Instagram and TikTok tagging our club and sponsor for a chance to win exclusive prizes like this weeks prize - A brand collab with @belovedweldsjewelry
the winner will receives a private shopping experience at Beloved welds studio and get the opportunity to create a reel to showcase their skills as a creator.
✨ Local Business Features
We loved spotlighting Charleston’s small businesses throughout the night. From our food & drink partners to vendor features, each business played a part in making the evening both memorable and community-driven. Were still talking about the food from Swig & Swine | SC BBQ our partners Hunter Quinn provided.

This candle making experience was only the beginning! Each month, The Content Hour will highlight a different local business and activation — from cocktail classes to yoga, private chef tastings, and beyond. And, of course, each event will always include curated content opportunities and community connection.
Our next event is set for the second Thursday in the month of October and I'm excited to be able to use this platform to help launch my friend and business partners newest creative venture creatinginfullbloom which is something we've been planning over the past year and now we get to make it happen! We hosted our first Private Studio Content Day with our Club Insiders. It was a content day lead by me to help the girls get photos for their personal branding and model for some of our upcoming Creative Growth Club projects. They got to see me and my trusted partner in action sharing how we execute our studio session. It was an amazing day shooting with kimberlygrimesphotography for the first time.
