Inside the Icebreaker Brunch: A Morning of Connection, Creativity, and Community 🌸

This month, we officially kicked off the first Icebreaker Brunch hosted by The Creative Growth Club — and wow, what a way to begin.

On a sunny Saturday in Charleston, five incredible creators gathered at Ritual Rooftop & Bar for an intimate morning of connection, creativity, and conversation. With the city skyline as our backdrop and an open table of laughter, mimosas, and meaningful chats, this brunch was exactly what we all needed.

Why We Brunched

The Icebreaker Brunch was born from a simple idea: smaller rooms create deeper connections. In a world where it’s easy to feel like you’re shouting into the void, I wanted to create a safe, cozy space where creators could actually talk — like, really talk.

This wasn’t about follower counts or picture-perfect aesthetics. This was about getting real, sharing goals, swapping stories, and supporting each other as people first, creators second.

The Vibes

We met on the rooftop at Ritual, one of the most beautiful spots in Charleston. The energy was high, the food was top tier (highly recommend the empanadas by the way), and the convos were exactly what I dreamed of — honest, inspiring, and full of heart.

After brunch, I surprised the girls with a little gift: complimentary headshots on the rooftop. The light was perfect, and so were they. It was the perfect way to end the morning — everyone walked away with updated content and a confidence boost.

What’s Next: Monthly Icebreaker Brunches 🥂

This was just the beginning. The Icebreaker Brunch is becoming a monthly event, intentionally kept small so we can keep the energy real. Each month, we’ll gather a new group of local creators for slow mornings filled with fresh conversations, new connections, and creative support.
